In 1956, Pedro F. Hernandez arrived from Cuba like many other immigrants ready to achieve the American Dream.  He first settled in Miami where he had family and started working as a bus boy and waiter. He traveled further north and worked in Ohio and New York before coming back to Miami where he started his family in the early 60’s.  Like many other immigrants, he worked in a factory during the day and waited tables at night to support his family. He heard from someone who also worked as a waiter that he could make good money in real estate. Always an entrepreneur since the age of 14, he started working real estate part-time in 1966 and by 1969 was already opening up his own office, Pedro Realty, Inc. 

Pedro was one of the first successful Hispanic real estate business owners in South Florida. Through a lot of hard work and perseverance, Pedro Realty became one of the leading companies in South Florida serving our community for almost 50 years. Pedro continues to be active in the business and provides invaluable advice and experience to the current operations. 

Fast forward to today, the company name has transitioned to Pedro Realty International reflecting our diverse, vibrant and international community.  Family owned and operated, the company offers residential, commercial and property management services.
